Version 1.0.1 is the traditional first patch: a handful of fixes and one new door. The door leads to a shop, and the shop is on the web.

The headline of the Google Play release note is that web purchases are now available at playmoneyflow.com. Sign in, open the Store, pick a pawn, a dice skin or a board theme, and pay by card through Stripe Checkout. On Android the same purchase goes through Google Play instead. Either way the item belongs to your Moneyflow account and not to a device, so a pawn bought on a laptop is waiting on your phone, and the other way round.
Everything in the Store is cosmetic. Pawns, dice and themes change how your game looks and nothing about how it plays, so nobody can buy their way to financial freedom. You can only buy a better-looking way of chasing it.
The sanding
The other half of 1.0.1 is the kind of work that never makes a headline: stability and UX improvements throughout, with particular attention to two places. The financial statement panel is where the truth about your money lives. The dice animations are where the hope lives. Both got bug fixes.
Patch releases like this one are the honest ones. Nobody writes a blog post called "We Stopped a Thing From Flickering", but a game about money is only fun if the numbers are right and the dice behave, and 1.0.1 is the first of many small versions that make sure of both. The next headline arrives in 1.2.6, and it comes with a tax bill.
