Version 1.2.9: Sign-In, Sorted

Some updates add features. Version 1.2.9 adds the ability to do things you were already supposed to be able to do. It is the least glamorous update we have shipped, and one of the most necessary.
Signing in, properly
Two things were wrong with sign-in. The first was small. Tap Continue with Google after you had signed in before and the game quietly restored your old session, so you could never pick a different account. A deliberate tap now shows the account picker. The automatic sign-in at startup stays quiet, because its whole job is to avoid a prompt.
The second was bigger. On iPhone and iPad, Continue with Apple and Continue with Google could show an error before any sign-in sheet appeared. The request to the native sign-in plugin was missing a parameter that iOS insists on and Android forgives. We also made the sheets attach to the app's active window, which on an iPad is not always the first one. The whole saga, including how an App Review turned it up, is told in Going Public.
A Store that is never empty
The Store used to ask the phone's store which products it could actually sell, and if that list came back empty it hid every item you did not already own. An empty list is exactly what you get before prices have loaded, so the Store could look bare at the worst possible moment. Now an empty list means "not loaded yet" and every item stays on the shelf. Tap one and the game looks it up directly. If the store genuinely has nothing, it tells you the item is not available yet, instead of pretending it never existed.
The three bundles are back too, each on its own tab: the 5-Pawn Bundle with the pawns, the Themes Bundle with the themes, and the Starter Persona Pack on a new Personas tab. Buy one as a guest and every item inside unlocks, no account required.
Windows that stay open
In single player the Buy, Sell, Loan and Pay windows closed after every action, while in multiplayer they stayed open, so the same button sometimes closed the window and sometimes did not. Both modes now keep it open until you close it, which means you can take several certificates or loans in a row without reopening anything.
Speaking of which, there are bigger tickets. Certificates of deposit and loans now come in larger sizes, so you can park real money or borrow real money without ten taps, and the debt limits still apply. In German, a certificate of deposit had been labelled "deposit receipt". It is Festgeld now.
Fresh names
The release note says "refreshed persona assets, pawn and theme names", which undersells it slightly. Two cosmetic items were renamed to say what they actually are. The Lambo pawn, which was always a chequered flag, is now the Chequered Flag, and the Tank theme is now Shark Pool. A couple of persona items lost their car brand names and became a Sports Car and a Basic Sedan. Nothing you already own went anywhere, because we renamed the items and left the IDs behind them alone.
Next in the series is 1.2.10, where we cool your phone down.
